Do you accept eBooks as well as print books?

Yes. We accept print and ebook formats.

What are the Heart of Humanity Book Awards?

The Heart of Humanity Book Awards celebrate authors whose words uplift, inspire, and expand our shared humanity. These awards honor books that awaken compassion, spark awareness, and inspire meaningful change through the power of story.

How do I submit a book?

You can submit a book by completing the online application form on the Heart of Humanity Awards website. You’ll be asked to provide details such as the book title, author, publication date, and a short summary of how the book contributes to uplifting humanity.

What are the evaluation criteria?

Judges consider clarity, originality, emotional resonance, structure, message, and contribution to humanity’s growth and well-being.

Where are the winners announced?

Winners are announced annually during the Heart of Humanity celebration event. 

We'll let you know when and where this live event will be.

Who can submit a book?

Authors, publishers, publicists, or readers, may submit a book. We welcome works from all backgrounds and publishing paths, including traditional, hybrid, and independent authors.

What if my book is co-authored?

Co-authored works are welcome. Please designate a primary contact for all award communications.

Can I enter my book in more than one category?

Yes. You may enter multiple categories if your book fits more than one.

What is the submission fee?

There is a non-refundable, nominal submission fee of US $67 per book, per entry, per category. 

This fee supports administrative costs and the review process.

What kinds of books are eligible?

Fiction and non-fiction works are eligible, including children’s books, poetry, memoirs, and inspirational writings. Submissions should align with the mission of the Heart of Humanity, celebrating stories that illuminate truth, healing, and hope.

Can I withdraw my submission after entry?

You may withdraw your entry at anytime . . . however, the submission fee is non-refundable.

Can I submit a translated book?

Yes. Translated works are accepted as long as rights are cleared and the text is available in English for evaluation purposes.

What is the judging process?

Each submission is reviewed by at least three professional evaluators using a scoring system that honors the quality of writing and the emotional or social impact of your work. 

The Heart of Humanity Board then reviews evaluations to determine final awardees.
